Walk to the show and walk home. Trifecta's furnished apartments sit in West Village — converted Liggett & Myers tobacco warehouses on West Morgan Street — about a 10-minute walk from the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC). These are 2-bedroom lofts with exposed brick, soaring ceilings, full kitchens, and on-site parking: built for a Broadway weekend, a concert night, or a longer downtown Durham stay. Skip the deck that sells out before the curtain.

14 guest reviews mention the theater, an event, or the walk — here are a few, unedited.
DPAC show★★★★★
“Our stay was quick but great.
Loft is cute and looks just like the photos. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. We did not use the kitchen but seemed well-stocked. Finding/accessing the loft was a bit complicated but all good. The location is fantastic, walkable to downtown, DPAC, etc. Communication was excellent. Would return for sure.”

Apartment vs hotel
Built for an event weekend, not just a night
A full kitchen
Feed a group before the event and skip the overpriced venue concessions. Cookware, dishwasher, full-size fridge — all included.
Room for the whole crew
A 2-bedroom sleeps six — one apartment instead of three hotel rooms, with a living room to actually hang out in.
In-unit laundry
Pack light for a multi-night run of shows or a season of home games. Washer and dryer in every unit.
Lower per-night cost
For two nights or more, a furnished apartment usually beats a comparable downtown hotel — and direct booking drops the 15–20% OTA service fee entirely.
Walk, don’t park
Most event venues sell little or no on-site parking, and nearby decks fill up and add up fast. Stay within walking distance and skip the cost and the post-event traffic.
A local team, not a call center
We own and operate every apartment. Book direct and you reach the people who run the building, instantly confirmed.
Getting around
No car needed
West Village is one of downtown Durham's most walkable addresses (Walk Score in the low 90s), set in the historic Brightleaf tobacco district. From your loft you can walk to DPAC, the American Tobacco Campus, Brightleaf Square, the Durham Bulls ballpark, and dozens of restaurants — then walk home. Durham's Amtrak station sits in the complex itself, so many guests arrive without a car at all.
On foot
West Village sits in downtown Durham's walkable Brightleaf district (Walk Score in the low 90s) — DPAC is a flat ~10–12 minute walk south through the American Tobacco area, and you walk home after the curtain.

Good to know
Questions before you book
How far is each apartment from DPAC?
Both buildings are a short, flat walk — about 10–12 minutes south through the American Tobacco district. They sit next to each other on West Morgan Street (the Cooper Building at 604 is marginally closer than the Flowers Building at 610), so the walk is essentially the same from either. Times are approximate — a guest review pegged it at "a 12 minute walk to DPAC."
Can I walk to DPAC, or should I drive?
You can walk. West Village is in downtown Durham's walkable Brightleaf district (Walk Score in the low 90s), and DPAC is a flat ~10–12 minute walk away. Most guests walk to the show and walk home — skipping the parking decks, which sell out 45–60 minutes before showtime and crawl on the way out.
Where do I park for a show?
DPAC has no on-site parking; the recommended American Tobacco and Mangum Street decks run about $10–$12 a car, and the closest deck routinely sells out 45–60 minutes before showtime (worse on Durham Bulls home-game nights). Staying within walking distance avoids it. Both Trifecta buildings include on-site parking, so your car stays put while you walk to the show.
Can I get to Durham without a car?
Yes — easily. Durham's Amtrak station is right in the West Village complex (601 W Main St), served by the Carolinian and Piedmont trains, and RDU airport is about a 15–20 minute drive. Once you're here, DPAC and downtown Durham are a walk away, so a car is genuinely optional.
Are these lofts better than a hotel for a show weekend?
For two or more nights, usually yes. These are 2-bedroom historic lofts that sleep six, with a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and a separate living area — more space than a downtown hotel room, at a lower per-night cost, with no OTA service fee when you book direct. Great for a couple making a weekend of it or a group splitting a Broadway trip.
What's on at DPAC in 2026?
DPAC's Truist Broadway at DPAC series anchors the year — touring Broadway like Hamilton and The Notebook — alongside concerts (Jill Scott, Harry Connick Jr., Wilco) and comedy. The calendar above pulls DPAC's upcoming events live and updates automatically. DPAC stages more than 200 performances a year and is consistently ranked among the top US theaters by attendance.
