Very nice place! Lots of space to spread out. We arrived early evening and were very happy to find a good Mexican restaurant just steps away. Convenient garage parking is also a huge plus.

The loft was very clean and in a great location. The instructions to get into the unit were very clear as well as communication with the property manager. Everything went very smoothly and we would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Durham.

Great place, centrally located and management was very responsive when a neighbor passed out with a movie on blast. Hammocks on the balcony were fantastic and place felt very large. 8 year old loved it.

Apartment vs hotel

Built for the assignment, not just a night

  • A full kitchen

Cook a real dinner after a long day on site instead of another room-service tab — full-size fridge, dishwasher, and real cookware.

  • Room to actually work

A separate bedroom and a real living room with space for a desk — room to spread out, take calls, and host a colleague, not one cramped hotel room.

  • In-unit laundry

Pack light for a long assignment — a washer and dryer in every unit, so you’re not hunting down a hotel laundromat.

  • Lower per-night cost

For a multi-week or monthly assignment, a furnished apartment comes in well under a comparable run of hotel nights — ask about monthly rates, and booking direct drops the 15–20% OTA service fee entirely.

  • In the heart of downtown

Stay in walkable downtown — walk to the office, dinner, coffee, and the gym, and skip the daily hotel-garage-and-rideshare routine.

  • A local team, not a call center

We own and operate every apartment, so you reach the people who run the building — instant confirmation, and easy to extend if your project runs long.

Good to know

Questions before you book

How long can I stay?

As long as your assignment needs. We specialize in extended stays — multi-week and monthly — and the lofts can be booked by the week or month, up to a full year. Shorter stays work too; just ask.

Do I need to furnish anything or set up utilities?

No. Each loft is fully furnished and move-in ready: a full kitchen with cookware, an in-unit washer & dryer, fast Wi-Fi, a workspace, a TV, and linens and towels, with on-site parking included. Bring a laptop and a suitcase.

Is it cheaper than a hotel for a long stay?

For a multi-week or monthly stay, generally yes — ask about monthly rates, which come in well under stacking that many hotel nights, and you get a full 2-bedroom loft with a kitchen and a workspace instead of one room. Booking direct also drops the 15–20% OTA service fee entirely.

Where is it, and what’s the commute like?

The West Village lofts are in walkable downtown Durham (the American Tobacco / Brightleaf district) — walk to restaurants, coffee, and the riverwalk. It’s a short drive to Research Triangle Park and Duke, with Raleigh-Durham (RDU) airport about 15–20 minutes away and Amtrak in the complex.

Can I book for a team or extend my stay, and do you allow pets?

Book direct on this page and you reach the local team that owns and operates the building — instant confirmation, and easy to extend if your project runs long; for a longer corporate stay, just ask. Some apartments are pet-friendly too — tell us about your pet when you book.
