Chapel Hill · Corporate & extended stays

Corporate housing for Chapel Hill — a short drive from a walkable downtown

Chapel Hill has a small hotel supply and very few furnished rentals, and both fill up around UNC’s busy weekends. Trifecta doesn’t have a building in Chapel Hill — our furnished lofts are in downtown Durham’s West Village, about 11–12 miles and a ~25-minute drive away down I-40. For a multi-week project, a clinical rotation, a visiting appointment or a move to the area, that trade gets you a 2-bedroom loft with a full kitchen, a workspace, parking and laundry in the building, in a walkable downtown with Duke and RTP close by — on weekly or monthly terms, booked direct with no service fee.

Apartment vs hotel

Built for the assignment, not just a night

  • A full kitchen

Cook a real dinner after a long day on site instead of another room-service tab — full-size fridge, dishwasher, and real cookware.

  • Room to actually work

A separate bedroom and a real living room with space for a desk — room to spread out, take calls, and host a colleague, not one cramped hotel room.

  • Laundry down the hall

A paid washer and dryer in the building’s laundry room, just down the hall from your door — pack lighter without hunting for a laundromat.

  • Lower per-night cost

For a multi-week or monthly assignment, a furnished apartment comes in well under a comparable run of hotel nights — ask about monthly rates, and booking direct skips the OTA platform markup entirely.

  • In the heart of downtown

Stay in walkable downtown — walk to the office, dinner, coffee, and the gym, and skip the daily hotel-garage-and-rideshare routine.

  • A local team, not a call center

We own and operate every apartment, so you reach the people who run the building — no charge until confirmed, and easy to extend if your project runs long.

Who stays here

Built for longer Chapel Hill stays

The guests who choose a Durham loft for Chapel Hill work usually need more than a hotel room for more than a few nights.

  • Clinical rotations & medical stays

A full kitchen and laundry in the building make a multi-week rotation or a family member’s treatment far easier than a hotel room — plan on a ~25-minute drive to the medical campus.

  • Visiting faculty & researchers

A semester or summer appointment fits our monthly terms, with a workspace and fast Wi-Fi in every loft.

  • Project & consulting teams

Two bedrooms, so a pair of colleagues can share one loft instead of two hotel rooms.

  • Relocating to Chapel Hill or Carrboro

Live nearby for a month while you find a lease or close on a house — no annual commitment.

Good to know

Questions before you book

Do you have apartments in Chapel Hill?

No — our furnished lofts are in downtown Durham’s West Village, about 11–12 miles and a ~25-minute drive from the UNC campus. There’s no quick transit between the two, so plan to drive or use rideshare. The trade-off is a full 2-bedroom loft with a kitchen, usually for less than a Chapel Hill hotel room on busy weeks.

How long can I stay?

As long as your project, rotation or move needs. We specialize in multi-week and monthly stays and can book up to a full year; shorter stays work too.

What’s included?

Each loft is fully furnished: a full kitchen with cookware, fast Wi-Fi, a workspace, a TV, linens and towels, and parking. A paid washer and dryer are down the hall in the building.

Is it cheaper than a hotel?

For multi-week stays, usually — and two people can share a 2-bedroom loft instead of paying for two rooms. Try your own dates in our hotel vs. apartment cost calculator, which uses live prices.

Are you affiliated with UNC or UNC Health?

No. Trifecta is an independently owned furnished-apartment operator; we’re simply a comfortable base a short drive from Chapel Hill.
