FIDLAR with Woah at The Underground Charlotte, NC
Things to do Charlotte, NC
Visit Charlotte
FIDLAR stands for Fuck It Dog, Life’s A Risk. The L.A. band’s brand of high-energy punk rock is loud, fast, and catchy. Their lyrics typically cover topics such as addiction, partying, and self-destruction. On Sunday, January 28th, they’ll be headlining The Underground – Charlotte (The Fillmore) along with Woah. Woah is a Charlotte act that takes punk and rock influences and coats them in just enough pop gloss to make their songs instantly catchy while keeping the listener interested. Woah has slowly been making a name on the local scene with its catchy tunes and energetic live shows. The Underground – Charlotte offers music fans a cozy experience in a reasonably intimate environment.
You get a chance to get up close and personal with a band you love, or you can chill a little ways back at the bar or up in a lounge area. The Underground – Charlotte is located at 820 Hamilton Street, Charlotte, NC 28206. Doors are at 7:00 PM for this show, starting at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the show.
You can purchase them online at Ticketmaster or the box office. I’m not sure about you, but I love a few things more than a night of fantastic punk rock. There’s just something about the music that invigorates and helps me feel alive. There are a few good punk shows a year in town – this looks like it will be one of them. This is an excellent little lineup to round out January, and this show is worth the admission price. It’s not often that two solid punk bands like FIDLAR and Woah swing through simultaneously, allowing us to topple a few barricades. If you’re a fan of loud music or enjoy a good rock show, you won’t regret spending a Sunday with these two bands; grab a ticket now and have a great night out enjoying some new music.
