Apartment vs hotel
Built for an event weekend, not just a night
A full kitchen
Feed a group before the game and skip the $18 stadium hot dog. Cookware, dishwasher, full-size fridge — all included.
Room for the whole crew
A 2-bedroom sleeps six — one apartment instead of three hotel rooms, with a living room to actually hang out in.
In-unit laundry
Pack light for a multi-night run of shows or a season of home games. Washer and dryer in every unit.
Lower per-night cost
For two nights or more, a furnished apartment usually beats a comparable Uptown hotel — and direct booking drops the 15–20% OTA service fee entirely.
Walk, don’t park
The stadium sells no general parking and decks run $20–$60+. Stay within walking distance and skip the cost and the post-event traffic.
A local team, not a call center
We own and operate every apartment. Book direct and you reach the people who run the building, instantly confirmed.
Getting around
No car needed
Spectrum Center sits in the Trade & Tryon core of Uptown — Charlotte's most walkable district. From any Trifecta building you can walk (or take a quick streetcar or Blue Line hop) to the arena, then walk to dinner, drinks, and home — no rideshare surge, no waiting in a crowd of 19,000.
LYNX Blue Line
The CTC/Arena station sits at the arena's doorstep — two walkways connect them — and one stop links Spectrum Center to South End and the park-and-ride lots.
CityLYNX Gold Line streetcar
Runs east–west along Trade Street across Uptown with a stop steps from the arena — the easy way in from the west-side buildings.
Charlotte Transportation Center
The region's main bus hub sits right beside the arena, so the whole CATS network reaches the door.
Charlotte Douglas (CLT) airport
About 8 miles / a 15–20 minute drive; the CATS Sprinter (Route 5) also connects CLT to Uptown for a few dollars.

Questions before you book
How far is each apartment from Spectrum Center?
It depends on the building. Savoy is the closest at roughly an 8–11 minute walk (same 2nd Ward as the arena); The VUE on 5th is about 13–16 minutes, Circa Uptown 16–19, and Centric Gateway a 20–25 minute walk or a quick Gold Line streetcar ride straight down Trade Street. Times are approximate and vary by exact unit and gate.
Can I walk to the arena, or should I drive?
You can walk. Spectrum Center is in the heart of Uptown’s walkable Trade & Tryon core, and most guests walk to the show and walk home afterward — skipping deck fees and the post-event traffic. From the west-side buildings, the free Gold Line streetcar and the Blue Line run right to the arena too.
Where do I park for a concert or a Hornets game?
Spectrum Center has no large on-site lot; nearby Uptown decks run about $10–$25 (more for premium concerts) and sell out close-in. Staying within walking distance avoids it. If you do drive into town, most Trifecta buildings include resident or garage parking, so your car stays put while you walk to the show.
Which events actually draw out-of-town visitors?
The big touring concerts and marquee shows — especially two-night stands like J. Cole (Jul 10–11) and Tame Impala (Aug 1–2) — are the natural multi-night stays. Routine Hornets regular-season games are mostly a quick walk-over for locals, though marquee opponents and any postseason draw traveling fans too.
Is an apartment better than a hotel for an event?
For two or more nights, usually yes — a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, separate living space, and room for a group, at a lower per-night cost than a comparable Uptown hotel, with no OTA service fee when you book direct. A 2-bedroom at Savoy sleeps six, which beats two hotel rooms for a concert weekend.
Can I get there from the airport without a car?
Yes. Charlotte Douglas (CLT) is about a 15–20 minute drive, and the CATS Sprinter (Route 5) connects the airport to Uptown for a few dollars. Once you’re here, the Blue Line, Gold Line streetcar, and the bus hub next to the arena make it a genuinely car-optional stay.
