Apartment vs hotel
Built for an event weekend, not just a night
A full kitchen
Feed a group before the event and skip the overpriced venue concessions. Cookware, dishwasher, full-size fridge — all included.
Room for the whole crew
A 2-bedroom sleeps six — one apartment instead of three hotel rooms, with a living room to actually hang out in.
In-unit laundry
Pack light for a multi-night run of shows or a season of home games. Washer and dryer in every unit.
Lower per-night cost
For two nights or more, a furnished apartment usually beats a comparable downtown hotel — and direct booking drops the 15–20% OTA service fee entirely.
Skip the post-show grind
Event lots empty slowly and the drive home is long. Stay minutes away and the worst of your night is a short, familiar trip back to your own door — resident parking waiting, no hour-plus crawl out and no late highway haul.
A local team, not a call center
We own and operate every apartment. Book direct and you reach the people who run the building, instantly confirmed.
Getting around
Getting there & back
The coliseum is an easy ~4-mile hop from Uptown — a 10–15 minute drive or a quick, cheap rideshare. There's no light rail to the east side, and the Gold Line streetcar stops about two miles short, so a short drive or ride is the way there. The upside: you're right between the venue and the rest of Charlotte, with Plaza Midwood, NoDa, and Uptown all minutes away.
By car
I-277 to East Independence Boulevard (US-74) east — about 4 miles / 10–15 minutes from Uptown. Parking is included with most tickets, otherwise about $10 in the shared Bojangles Entertainment Complex lots.
Rideshare
A short, cheap hop — roughly $8–$14 and 10–15 minutes from Uptown. The easy call, especially to skip the Independence Boulevard traffic on the way out.
CityLYNX Gold Line streetcar
The Gold Line runs east from Uptown toward Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood, but its Sunnyside terminus stops about two miles short of the coliseum — useful for part of the trip, but you'll finish with a short rideshare.
Charlotte Douglas (CLT) airport
About 10 miles / a 20-minute drive — easy for a fly-in event weekend.

Good to know
Questions before you book
How far is each apartment from Bojangles Coliseum?
All four Trifecta buildings are in Uptown Charlotte, about 4 miles — a 10–15 minute drive east on Independence Boulevard — from the coliseum. Savoy, on Uptown’s east side, is the quickest run. A rideshare is a cheap $8–$14 alternative. Times are approximate.
Can I get there without driving?
It's an easy, cheap rideshare — about $8–$14 from Uptown. There's no light rail to the coliseum: the LYNX Blue Line runs north–south, not out to the east side, and the CityLYNX Gold Line streetcar stops about two miles short near Plaza Midwood. CATS buses (Routes 9, 17, 27) serve the Independence corridor, but a short drive or rideshare is the realistic way there.
Where do I park, and what does it cost?
Parking is easy and cheap: it's included with most ticketed events, and otherwise about $10 a vehicle in the shared Bojangles Entertainment Complex lots (the coliseum and Ovens Auditorium next door share them). Lots open about two hours before showtime. Staying nearby mostly saves you the Independence Boulevard crawl afterward — and your building has its own resident parking.
What’s on at Bojangles Coliseum?
The calendar above pulls upcoming events live from Ticketmaster and refreshes automatically — touring concerts, comedy, and family shows like Disney On Ice. The arena is also home ice for the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers and home court for the new Charlotte Crown basketball team.
How big is the arena, and how old is it?
Bojangles Coliseum seats about 8,600 for hockey and most events, and up to roughly 10,800 for end-stage concerts. It opened in 1955 as the Charlotte Coliseum — once home to the original Charlotte Hornets — and was later known as Independence Arena and Cricket Arena before its current name.
Is an apartment better than a hotel for an event?
For two or more nights, usually — a full kitchen, room for the family or group, in-unit laundry, and a lower per-night cost than a comparable hotel, with no OTA service fee when you book direct. And you’re minutes from Plaza Midwood, NoDa, and the rest of Charlotte, not stranded by the highway.
