Getting around
Skyla sits in the self-contained Music Factory district — The Fillmore, The Underground, the Comedy Zone, and a cluster of bars and restaurants are all a 1–3 minute walk from each other, so once you're there you don't need a car. Getting there from Uptown is a short walk from the closest building, or a quick ride from the rest.
From any building, an Uber or Lyft to the Music Factory is a short, cheap hop — typically $8–$15 (more with post-show surge). The easy call for the farther buildings and after the show.
The VUE is a flat ~12-minute walk; the other buildings are a longer 20–40 minute walk across the I-277 belt — pleasant by day, a quick ride after dark.
The Gold Line's west-end stops (Johnson & Wales, Gateway) sit near Centric Gateway, about a mile from the venue.
About 6–7 miles / a 15–20 minute drive — easy for a fly-in concert weekend.
Make a weekend of it

From The VUE, walking is easy (~12 minutes). From the other buildings, a quick Uber or Lyft — usually $8–$15 — is the easy call, especially after the show or after dark. Either way you skip event parking and the post-show deck jam.
The Music Factory garage and surface lots run about $10–$15 on event nights, with a slow exit crush after a sold-out show. The simplest move is to stay nearby and walk or rideshare; most Trifecta buildings include resident parking, so your car stays put for the whole stay.
