Stay minutes from the music. Truliant Amphitheater — the 19,500-seat shed locals still call PNC Music Pavilion — sits in University City, about an 18-minute drive north of every Trifecta apartment in Uptown. Catch a marquee summer tour, then head back to a real apartment with a full kitchen and your own parking instead of a long, late drive home across the Carolinas.

Apartment vs hotel
Built for an event weekend, not just a night
A full kitchen
Feed a group before the event and skip the overpriced venue concessions. Cookware, dishwasher, full-size fridge — all included.
Room for the whole crew
A 2-bedroom sleeps six — one apartment instead of three hotel rooms, with a living room to actually hang out in.
In-unit laundry
Pack light for a multi-night run of shows or a season of home games. Washer and dryer in every unit.
Lower per-night cost
For two nights or more, a furnished apartment usually beats a comparable downtown hotel — and direct booking skips the OTA platform markup entirely.
Skip the post-show grind
Event lots empty slowly and the drive home is long. Stay minutes away and the worst of your night is a short, familiar trip back to your own door — resident parking waiting, no hour-plus crawl out and no late highway haul.
A local team, not a call center
We own and operate every apartment. Book direct and you reach the people who run the building — your card is not charged until confirmed.
Getting around
Getting there & back
The amphitheater is built around driving — included parking, no transit to the gate — but you still have options from Uptown. It's a quick 11-mile run up the interstate, the LYNX Blue Line covers most of the trip if you'd rather not drive (then a short rideshare for the last few miles), and the venue has a dedicated post-show rideshare pickup that skips the lot entirely.
By car
The simplest option: I-277 out of Uptown to I-77 N, then I-85 N to I-485 — about 11 miles / 17–20 minutes off-peak. General-admission parking is included with most tickets; the catch is the exit, which can take an hour or more to clear after a sold-out show.
LYNX Blue Line
Board the Blue Line at any Uptown station (9th St, 7th St, CTC/Arena, 3rd St) and ride north to the UNC Charlotte end of the line — about 30–40 minutes — then a short ~3-mile rideshare to the gates. The train covers the bulk of the trip car-free; it does not reach the venue itself.
Rideshare
An Uber or Lyft from Uptown is roughly 11 miles, and the venue runs a designated post-show pickup at the A/B Gate. The easy call if you'd rather not drive or wait out the lot after the encore.
Charlotte Douglas (CLT) airport
About 14 miles / a 20–25 minute drive — easy for a fly-in concert weekend.
Make a weekend of it
Make a weekend of it
Pair the concert with University City on the way in and NoDa on the way back — outlet shopping, free gardens, and a mural-covered brewery district, all minutes from the venue.
Shopping~10 min
Concord Mills
One of the Southeast's largest outlet malls — 200-plus stores plus Bass Pro and the Great Wolf Lodge — about 10 minutes north of the venue. An easy daytime add before an evening show.
Free & green~8 min
UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens
Free greenhouses and woodland gardens on the UNC Charlotte campus, just a few minutes from the gates — a quiet daytime stop before the music starts.
Food & drink~6 min
University City dining & breweries
Pre-show dinner and local taprooms cluster along University City Blvd, minutes from the amphitheater — fuel up before you head in.
Arts & nightlife~15 min
NoDa arts district
Charlotte's mural-covered arts district sits between the venue and Uptown — breweries, live music, and a stop right on the Blue Line. A natural detour on the way home.
Good to know
Questions before you book
How far is each apartment from Truliant Amphitheater?
All four Trifecta buildings are in Uptown Charlotte, about 11 miles — a 17–22 minute drive up I-77 and I-85 — from the amphitheater in University City. The VUE on 5th, at the north end of Uptown, is the quickest run north. Times are approximate and run longer right after a sold-out show.
Can I get there without driving?
Mostly, yes. Board the LYNX Blue Line at any Uptown station and ride north to the UNC Charlotte end of the line (about 30–40 minutes), then take a short ~3-mile rideshare to the gates. The light rail doesn't reach the venue itself, and there's no official event shuttle — but the train covers the bulk of the trip car-free.
Where do I park, and what is the traffic like?
General-admission parking is included with most tickets, so there's no separate deck fee. The downside is the exit: the lots empty onto just two roads and can take an hour or more to clear after a sold-out show. Many guests rideshare (the venue has a dedicated post-show pickup at the A/B Gate) or build in a buffer and head back to an apartment 15–20 minutes away.
Isn't this still PNC Music Pavilion?
Same place. The amphitheater was renamed Truliant Amphitheater in January 2026 under a new naming-rights deal; most locals still call it PNC Music Pavilion (and Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre before that). It is the 19,500-seat outdoor shed on Pavilion Blvd in University City, operated by Live Nation.
Is it worth staying over after a concert?
For out-of-town fans, absolutely. Shows let out around 10–11pm, and a furnished apartment 15–20 minutes away beats a one-to-three-hour drive home across the Carolinas — or a gouged event-night hotel rate. Make a night of it, sleep in, and skip the worst of the exit traffic.
What's coming up at Truliant Amphitheater?
The calendar above pulls the amphitheater’s upcoming concerts live from Ticketmaster and refreshes automatically, so past shows drop off and new dates appear on their own.
